Corporate Receptionist (Part-Time)
Location: Swindon
Hours: 16 hours per week (Monday - Thursday, 9am - 1pm)
Duration: 6-month contract with potential to become permanent
Pay Rate: Competitive
We’re hiring a friendly, organized, and professional Receptionist to join Swindon’s brand-new, state-of-the-art sports facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting new venue, offering excellent potential for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors, ensuring they sign in and receive appropriate badges, directions or welcome.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Provide accurate information about the Council and its services to callers and visitors.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and activities on our booking system.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Coordinate expenses for staff members.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
Requirements/Experience:
- Capability and experience with basic finance invoicing.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Knowledge of office equipment such as printers, copiers, and scanners.
Provisional start date: 06/01/25
