Location: Swindon

Salary: £19,000 per annum plus bonuses and incentives

Role: Full-time, permanent

Days/Hours: Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Holiday: 25 days

Role Specification

Role Objective:

  • To pro-actively advise our range of Office Products and services both to Existing Private and Public Customers
  • Help customers with information and questions about our range of services and provide a friendly reliable and informative service experience.
  • To help the business achieve an agreed range of business objectives while observing our high customer service expectations.
  • To form part of a Service orientated and positive team of Telephone based advisors

Summary of Role Responsibilities:

  • Product and Price query resolution
  • Inform customers of our services and products
  • Process orders
  • Help resolve customer service related queries
  • Handle calls to communicate with customers
  • Work within the team to help deliver a first class customer experience
  • Help promote a positive and ‘can do’ approach to tasks
  • Maintain a professional approach at all times both internally and externally
  • Build meaningful Relationships with customers
  • Work on own initiative to achieve goals

Person Specification

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Customer Service experience in a pro-active selling environment or similar experience (i.e. experience of selling B2B)
  • Outgoing, articulate, Numerate and positive personality
  • Educated to GCSE; - (Maths and English as a minimum)

Desirable

  • Office Products Experience would be a real advantage
  • ECDL or similar Computer literacy qualification

SKILLS/ ABILITIES

Essential

  • Able to demonstrate Computer literacy
  • Ability to multi-task handling a range of opportunities simultaneously
  • Understanding of Electronic Purchasing systems

Desirable

  • Evidence of service related achievements / awards

DISPOSITION

  • Enthusiastic self-starter driven by the wish to succeed and earn rewards
  • Able to demonstrate a positive attitude toward new account creation
  • Able to demonstrate a Customer Champion commitment
  • Able to demonstrate a common sense approach to problem solving
